PRINCIPAL MESSAGE

I have privilege to welcome you all to this great temple of learning. I appreciate your interest in doing B.Ed. and choosing The New Progressive College of Teachers’ Education affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan and recognized by NCTE, NEW DELHI in the year 15^th  June,2004 and has been re-accredited with a 2.86 CGPA of ‘B’ Grade in 5^th May 2014 by NAAC. The college (B.Ed.) has got recognition under section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act,1956. The new Progressive College of Teachers’ Education (P.G. Department) was established in 15^th June, 2009. The college provides unique opportunities for the development of the young minds in a secular and conducive atmosphere. This type of atmosphere is the reflection of great vision and mission of the Institution.

The college maintains a tradition of inculcating human values in the minds of the student teachers B.Ed college like ours plays a crucial  role in producing good teachers. We take pains for their physical, mental and intellectual development. The aim of the college is to develop the thinking, analytical and intellectual faculty of the student teachers and not to stuff their brains with second –hand thoughts and ideas. Student teachers are enabled to gather the wisdom of the east and west education in this college of education is an enjoyable process in an excellent manner for this purpose execution of a chart of programs and activities would be organized during the session. We present unique atmosphere for the student teachers may god bless us all in the pursuit of education.
